Archiving messages
Keep your inbox to the conversations that still matter. Archive any thread with a swipe, without losing a word of it, and bring it back whenever you want.
Archiving is something you do
In your inbox, swipe a thread to the right until the Archive action appears, then let go. That thread moves straight to your archived list. It's the quickest way to clear out a conversation that's run its course.
This only tidies your inbox. The trader you were talking to keeps the thread exactly where it was, so nobody else's view is disturbed by you filing a conversation away.
Selling no longer archives anything. TradeSoft used to archive the threads about a listing the moment you marked it sold. It no longer does, so the conversation with your buyer stays in your inbox where you need it. See the 1.3.3 release notes. Threads that were archived this way in the past stay in your archive until you move them back.
Finding your archived threads
At the top of Messages you'll see an Inbox / Archived toggle. Tap Archived to see everything you've tucked away. Archived threads still show unread counts and float new activity to the top, so you won't miss a fresh reply just because a thread has been filed.
Moving a thread back to your inbox
Changed your mind? In the Archived view, swipe a thread to the right to send it back to your inbox. That includes anything TradeSoft archived for you back when selling an item archived its threads: nothing came back on its own, so move those across yourself if you want them in your main list.
