Club verification
Club verification is a trust badge showing you're a confirmed member of a legitimate, registered NZ airsoft club or venue. Here's what it means and how to get it.
What Club Verified means
When your club confirms you as a member, a Club Verified shield appears on your profile and your listings, alongside the name of your club. It tells other traders that a real, registered airsoft club has vouched for you. Club membership is a community trust signal: if a trade goes wrong, buyers and sellers know they can contact the club directly to help sort it out. (TradeSoft is not a party to any trade.)
It's the strongest trust marker on TradeSoft, ranking above the Phone Verified badge, because a whole club is standing behind you rather than just a confirmed phone number.
Only the club can add you
This is the important part: you can't verify yourself. Membership is confirmed by the club, not claimed by the member, which is exactly what makes the badge trustworthy. To get verified:
- Your club must already be a registered club on TradeSoft.
- Speak to your club's representative (the person who runs the club's account) and ask them to add you.
- You'll then get an invitation in the app. Accept it, and your Club Verified badge appears.
Leaving a club
If you leave a club, you lose the Club Verified status for that club, and the club can see that you've left. You can manage this from your profile at any time.
