Feature requests
TradeSoft is built with the NZ airsoft community, not just for it. The in-app feature-requests board is where you suggest ideas and vote on the ones you'd like us to build next.
Where to find it
Open the app and go to Profile, then under the About section tap Feature requests. You'll see a list of ideas the community has raised, which you can search or sort by Top voted, Newest first or Oldest first.
Voting on ideas
Every request shows a net score from community votes. You get one vote per request: tap the up arrow to support an idea or the down arrow if you don't think it's a priority. Tap the same arrow again to remove your vote. Sorting by Top voted is the quickest way to see what the community wants most.
Voting and posting need you to be signed in, so the board reflects genuine members of the community.
Submitting a request
Tap New request, give it a short, clear title and a description of the problem and what you'd like to see, then tap Submit request. As you type the title, the app looks for similar existing requests and suggests them, so you can upvote one that already exists rather than splitting the vote with a duplicate.
Once a request is open, anyone can add comments on the detail screen to add context, examples or support. The more useful detail a request gathers, the easier it is for us to weigh up.
What happens to your request
We read what rises to the top. As we triage requests, they can be labelled so you can see where they stand:
- Considering: on our radar and being weighed up.
- In progress: we're actively building it.
- Complete: it's shipped.
Please note that not every idea can be built. Votes and comments are a strong signal, but we have to balance them against safety, effort and where the platform is heading. To see what's already planned and in flight, check the public TradeSoft roadmap.
